Hewlett Packard manufactured and sold its 8660C computer with a defective motherboard. This caused the pc to continually lock up, which required the power to be turned off to reboot. This caused hard drives to go bad.
I wrote HP's CEO a letter and a nice lady later phoned. She could offer no help other than to arrange for another person to phone. He did and he wasn't nice. He sounded like a lawyer and refused to provide any help at all, like trading in the defective pc for a re-manufactured unit.
Hp refuses to stand behind its product and refuses to help consumers who bought the defective 8660C computer.
