My PC was recently infected with a rogue virus and I searched for an anti spyware removal system.
Through Yahoo search, I was led to SpyNoMore and purchased their system online for $39.95 taxes which came to approx 26 (UK Sterling) after performing the free scan which confirmed that I had a great number of viruses and spyware.
The scan was free but you had to register and pay for the removal. When they had received payment I was sent a registration number via e-mail, but when I entered it in the system I got the message "Invalid Receipt Number". I contacted their help desk who came back within a couple of hours and told me to uninstall and then reinstall the programme and it would work.
I did this but got the same message. I contacted them again and had to wait 24 hours for them to tell me the same thing.
I bought this on Sunday 1st October. It is now Thursday 5th October and I have sent countless messages and had no reponse. I have had to take my PC to a computer store to have it cleaned which cost me another 30 ($40).
SpyNoMore is a rip off. The help desk is a joke and they should be investigated for taking money under false pretences.
