I applied for a sony vaio on june 30 i was approved and had sent ing all lease agreements by july 7 they in turn debted my checking account on july 8. I have yet to receive my computer.

I have called several times and every time i am told a different story on why i have not received my computer.

Excuse #1 was that it was in processing and that takes 3 to 6 weeks for them to verify all the information and to have the company bulid and ship the computer.
Ok i bought that one since it was only 4 weeks in to the "process"

Excuse # 2,3 weeks later was that the order was placed through sony and they were waiting for tracking information from sony and had not heard back from them.

Excuse # 3 one week later was that they were still waiting to hear about tracking.

Ok heres where its statrs to get fishy.

The fouth time i called i was treated as i was bothing them and that i had no right to ask what was going on, not that they had already taken money for something that i was to receive didnt matter, how dare i bother them or wonder what they are doing.

I was told the girl yelled at me repeately that i had called to much and that i was annoying her and hung up on me alteast five times because i did not understand why it was taking 5 weeks to get shipping information and she could not answer me. I then asked to speak to a manager, then i was hung up on.

I called back several times after that and kept getting voice mail, after the sixth time someone answered and was very short and nasty with me before i even said anything (which i used a diiferant phone to call) and this lady told me that they were held up because of the recent battery recall. And that it would take a few more weeks and that my order has not been placed yet

Ok now if my order had not been placed yet, why was i told that my order was placed and they were waiting for a tracking number for over 5 weeks? Then i asked them why they did not email, call me to let me know what was going on? They said that that was not their job to keep track of everyones orders.
And i was tols it should be about 2 more weeks.

Now today almost 3 weeks later i have not received any thing from them so i deciede to see what was going on with my order and after the 20 time i called and no one answers, i finally got through to a very nasty lady which told me that my order was on hold and becuse of the backorders from the battery recall
so i asked about what the time frame they where looking at and she inform me that she when they get to it and she did not know when.

I stated that on their website it states that it should only take 3 to 4 weeks to receive the computer after they recieve your lease. She then corrected me and said during the holiday it is 3 to 6 weeks. I then told her it has been 13 weeks over the double the time of 3 to 6 weeks.
That lady had nothing to say and hung up on me again.

I then called back and asked for my money back since i did not see that i would recieve this computer from them, i was shocked that what i was told, she told me that it would take up to 30 business days for me to get my money. Which i did not understand since it took them one day to pull my money out of my account.

She then told me because they had to verify that they even pulled my money out of my account!!! Ok now this is weird since they will not even start to process your order untill they recieve your down payment of 99.00 dollars. I then told her that was stupid since they knew that they had my money they could easyly return my money to my account, and then i asked to speak to her manager or owner because i either wanted the computer or my money.

This lady then told me that there was not a manager or owner to speak with and that that was the process they had to take and then hung up on me.

I then got on the internt and seached this company and found they had over 700,000 complaints of this same thing.

How can they contunie to still be in business of stealing peoples hard earned money
