Ripoff A Lot Of Empty Promises

Well, where do I begin? I'm became a new father on 01/05/06 and like most people I just wanted to make a little extra cash so I could do more things with my daughter and be a better provider. Shortly after she was born is when I signed up for Survey Scout. I did everything step-by-step and did all the reading. I set up a new email account, I registered with every company on the first page (then the next few pages later), downloaded RoboForm, and made sure I was doing everything properly.

Now survey time comes. Ask my wife, I was pumped up to get started. The baby is up at 6am every morning the goes back to sleep from about 8am - 11am. This whole time I was doing surveys... Kind of, I'll explain later. Then the baby would wake up again and fall back asleep from 1pm - 3pm. Again, I was knocking out those surveys. Then I worked from 5pm - 11pm. While on lunch I would try to knock out more. When I got home I would to try to knock out more surveys till midnight.

I'll admint, I'm NOT skeptical about anything. If the looks like it will fit, I'll wear it. However, when survey time started my skepticism started kicking in. Why, you might ask? Number one, because half the companies on the first page weren't even survey companies. Number two, the very first company says they pay you to scan your grocery receipts then send them the data. Hmmm, it would be nice to have that scanner they said they would send me so I could get started.
Number three, I spent more time looking at the same advertisements over and over and over again than I did actually taking surveys. Probably 75% - 85% of my time was spent unchecking boxes and marking "No" on radio buttons. Number four, since I started I've been getting a lot of unknown calls on my cell phone and unrecognizable numbers. Luckly for me I never answer my cell or return a call unless someone leaves a voicemail.

Second to last, but not least, I remember reading on the home page "What if I could show you how to make $25 in 8 minutes." I'm thinking, "That would be awesome!" To my disappointment, I didn't receive that $25 check in the mail or in my bank account, but I did get a $25 gift certificate to a local restaurant in my area.
