On March 24 I received a call from my boyfriend and he wanted to know if I knew anything about a debit of $169.00 from his bank account in the name of ACH Impact/CB. This credit card company used my name and his bank account number. I had never heard of them before so the bank gave my boyfriend a toll free number to call.
I spoke with a female today when I called 866-883-4987 and she had the nerve to ask me for my boyfrend's bank account number and my social security number. Yeh, like right, I am going to give you that information when it is just as easy for you to steal it.
I use to think the Internet was a somewhat OK place to pay bills online, I am never going to do that again. These people need to be stopped.
About 30 minutes ago I received an email from Identity Safeguards and it is insurance in case of identity theft and when I called 800-939-4170 it was the same no good for nothing thieves that ripped me off in the first place.
This is unbelievable that people can think they can get away with this. My boyfriend wants his money back now.
