I bought several Free Acess phone cards from SpeedyPin. This card guarantees no connection fee, no maintenance fee and no tax. The rate for a call to Germany is stated with 1.6 cents/minute.
When I started using the cards the following was happening:
1. Minutes disappeared from the cards without using the card.
2.instead of deducting the minutes used for calls - around 625% more minutes were deducted.
I.E. A call was for 40 minutes but 250 minutes were deducted from the card. This happened on every call made with the card. On average over 600% were overcharged.
After calling the customer support of the phone card the "mysterious used minutes" were credited due to technical difficulties, but only the first time I called.
On the next 4 times the customer support was telling me that on the backside of the phonecard (it is an e-mail phone card) it is stated that there is an additional 10 cents per minute fee for Germany. (which is 625% more than stated on the web-site of Speedy-Pin.
SpeedyPin never answered on the several calls and e-mails I sent them in regard of this matter.
Don't buy any phonecard from SpeedyPin - the rates for the phone cards are not the rates they are stating.in this case the overcharge was 625% on average.
