I was the victim of another eBay scammer. I paid $640.00 for 3 jewelry items. 1). A ring advertised as solid 22k gold. 2). A pendant advertised as solid 22k gold. 3). A bracelet advertised as solid 14k gold.
As soon as I recieved these items I could tell there was a problem. They just didn't look right. I tested all of the items with a standard jewelers acid test (using test needles). The 14k bracelet failed instantly under 10k acid. NOT GOLD!!! The 2 22k items barely stood up to 14k acid. They were a weak 14k possibly 12k.
I emailed the seller that I was returning all 3 items and requested a refund. I also sent a letter 2 days ahead of the returned fakes explaining the situation and reccomending that the seller have thier own tests done if there were any question as to my abilities and knowledge in this area.
To make a long story short. The seller accepted delivery of the items via USPS but refused to even respond to a single email. I sent her about 25 in total. After warning her of my intention to report this situation to various agencies (including THE usacomplaints.com) I still got no answer whatsoever!
Now I'm out a total of $650.00 and even gave the junk back.
GOOD RIP-OFF Maya! Congratulations!!! It's people like you that make the internet a dishonest and deceitful venue for business. I hope it was worth the money! Cause I'm just getting started!!!
