I sent in several rebates in September and Onrebate paid all but one 40.00 rebate that states on the site the documents were never received. I also submitted a rebate in December for a monitor which has a white spot on almost the middle of the screen for $95.00 which Onrebate site states awaiting paperwork. Supposedly my mail is "lost", which I wrote to both companies and let them know that my mail seems to never get lost unless I am filing for a rebate. I also wrote my return address on the rebate envelope so if it actually did get "lost" I would know because of the returned envelope. Tiger Direct offers a rebate guarantee if you go to the post office and pay for proof of mailing. I did not do so. So now I am out $135.00. I wrote emails to them both and told them how I felt about it since I know and they know that I cannot possibly prove they actually received the rebates that were "lost". So rebate buyer beware! I may not get the rebate but I think they are dishonest and unethical. If enough people complain then maybe the Attorney General, or the Better Business Bureau will look into their "lost" mail. I for one think rebates should be canned! A product is not cheap if they never send the rebate! I was not too surprised to see all the complaints here about these companies after what happened to me
