Inept service, outrageous billing, and customer service that lies through their teeth RIPOFF

I called Techs4You to map a network drive, change permissions on a workstation and to address a services issue on our server.

The technician was barely able to communicate in English, which in this case presented a very large problem. He could not understand what I was trying to tell him regarding our issues.

He needed to call his own tech support approximately 5
times to map the drives and setup rights. According to network IT people, this job should have taken approximately 30 minutes to accomplish. He was here 3 hours.

I spoke with another tech in the home office who told me we would not be charged due to the inconvience and "inept" service. We were charged $244.95 for 3 hours and travel time.

Additionally, not all of the issues were addressed. When I called to resolve this invoice with Techs4you and offered to pay his travel time and one hour (which is generous) I was immediately rebuffed and told since I signed the work order I was responsible. Had the work order stated anywhere that signing put me in a non-negotiable position, I would not have signed. I signed simply to show that he was indeed here, and I signed for what he actually did; map a drive and set permissions. And again, I am willing to pay a REASONABLE amount for what should have taken less than 30 minutes.

I believe this was not only sub-standard service, but billed exorbitantly. Also deceptive, since there is no disclaimer on the work order. I would be happy to provide a copy of the order. I am willing to negotiate to a degree, but not pay this in full. It's ludicris.

I would like the bill reduced. I am willing to pay a
reasonable sum for this work. Meaning a reasonable amount of time, not 3 hours. I believe three hours to be highly UNreasonable. Additionally they did not address all of our issues. When I called, they did in fact offer to send a person out to fix what the other tech had not. However, as the first person was so incapable, I didn't want to use them yet again.

Lastly, had the person I spoke with regarding this invoice been in any way shape or form sympathetic, or owning up to bad service; I probably would not have reported them. The brusque manner in which I was treated immediately turned me off, and put me on the defensive. BAD customer service attitude in an industry that relies largely on word of mouth.
