My son (age 15 yrs) sent western union money order to: IONICA POPA in Romania who was a guaranteed seller from E-Bay. E-Bay stated to my son that the seller had $15,000 that they were freezing the sellers account until he got his laptop but as of now (over 2months) he has yet to receive laptop.
My son sent E-Bay a letter stating that he hadn't received his laptop and requested his order be cancelled so as to have it guaranteed refund from e-bay prior to the 30 day deadline but he not seen or heard from neither e-bay or the seller. E_BAY is discraceful as they do not honor guarantee and in doing so take a childs hard earned money in the process. We can't afford the laptop but he saved all his gift money and sold some things so that he could have it and now he is very upset to be ripped off as I taught him to always be honest but now he is bitter... Not that I can blame him!!! This is a SCAM!!!
I have reported E-Bay to the FCC and other agencies and also the seller: IONICA POPA from Romania. Next I will be contacting the media to get the message ouf of this scam.
