On March 22 I was browsing the Universalrxfl site. After checking some prices I decided against purchasing anything. Later that day, as usual, I checked my bank account online and noticed an unauthorized charge on my credit card for$19.95. I saw that the charge was associated with a "Card33" and recalled having seen something about this card on the above-mentioned site. I went back to the site and discovered that the$19.95 is a non-refundable order-processing fee. Not having ordered anything, I knew that a serious error had been made or that I was a mark in an intentional scam.
I overwhelmingly realized that it was the latter when all my attempts to contact anyone at the site came to nothing. I sent six or seven emails explaining what had happened, and in return received nothing but a new"ID Number" for each email I sent.
All my attempts to explain what had happened were completely ignored. As a kind of "test" I sent emails which had nothing to do with the above-mentioned theft-asking about different merchandise, expected time of delivery, etc. Again, all I received in response to these innocent questions were new "ID Numbers"-one for each email.
On March 23, I visited the Universalrxfl site again and this time I actually added a couple of items to my cart. However, I decided I didn't really want the merchandise, especially in light of my previous experiences with this site.
So, I simply left the site without checking out. Again, I later discovered that another card33 "order-processing fee" of $19.95 had been charged to my credit card. The imformation on the transaction was somewhat more interesting this time. The words "Nicosia" and "Cy" had been added. After some checking around I discovered that Nicosia is a town in Cyprus.
I don't know if this can be of any help in apprehending and stopping these sociopathic parasites, but hopefully it will. These are rotten people and I would be willing to do just about anything to put them where they belong. "Every little bit helps".
