False advertising and nondelivery of services purchased ripoff

I purchased web hosting for my company's site from these people in 2003. Since then, my site has gone down more times than I care to count. When the site goes down, I complete a help desk ticket at MyCustomerSupport (their help desk) then have to resort to begging before anyone will do anything to help me.

The Lifetime Web Hosting site uses several false advertising statements to induce people into purchasing their services:

LifetimeWebHosting offers "24/7 Support!" - Wrong! They give you a help desk form that you can use 24/7 to report problems with your site, but they don't actually support you as a customer for days at a time.

LifetimeWebHosting states on their homepage that "Only limited number of packages are available for the special price marked below!" - They've been stating that exact same phrase since 2003!

LifetimeWebHosting states on their homepage "100% UPTIME GUARANTEED! Lightning fast servers with ssh access!" - wrong again! By reading the help desk tickets above you can clearly see that they do not have 100% uptime. Their guarantee is bogus.

LifetimeWebHosting provides the following contact information on their About Us page: LifetimeWebHosting.com, P.O. Box 473, Newtown, PA 18940, USA Phone: 877-825-5970 Fax: 877-825-5970 - There are no live people answering their telephones! Their phone number is also their fax number. When I call them, all I ever get is a fax machine, regardless of the time of day that I call.

On their FAQ page, LifetimeWebHosting claims "We're also affiliated with ClickBank, which is another established company and is here to stay as well." - Clearly a deception! They may be "affiliates" of ClickBank, meaning that they make commissions by selling stuff advertised at ClickBank, but they are not "affiliated with ClickBank". I phoned ClickBank and verified this personally.

My company's web site went down on March 21. I opened a help desk ticket. After four days, I received a reply that my site was back up and the server was fully operational. But, my site was not up, so I contacted them back. After six days and me reminding them that false advertising is illegal, they responded back that my site had been suspended for "high volume activity".

Now, their terms state "Server Resources - Any web site that uses a high amount of server resources (such as, but not limited to CPU time, memory usage, and network resources) can be suspended without notice, and then may be given an option of either upgrading their service level or reducing the resource used to an acceptable level."

I was not even given an option of upgrading my services or reducing the resource used. Where's that option? How can I excercise that option if I don't have access to my FTP account? Since I cannot now check my emails at BlueAegis.com, how am I supposed to receive any type of notifications regarding these options? These were the questions that I now posed to their help desk people (who may never respond).

I've been monitoring my bandwidth logs carefully since launching a new software product. I have not even come close to using 3,000 MB of data transfer, which is the monthly maximum allotted to my site. This is just their way of getting rid of my site that they have my money.

Much more info, including Help Desk Tickets created for my site, is available; contact me by using the rebuttal box below.
