I wanted to purchase $11.00 worth of product from this company in which they were going to charge me $6.95 for shipping. I complained that the charge to ship one item weighing less than 5 ounces is ridiculous and over HALF of what the product cost. They became nasty and accused me of wanting them to pay ME to be their customer. They told me that if I bought eight more items, the shipping price would be cheaper. I did not WANT to purchase eight more items. This company also has the cost of shipping separate when you check out. You have to actively look for the shipping cost. If you are unsuspecting like I was, you will go ahead and purchase the product. When you find that the shipping charge is not calculated at checkout, as is standard practice for most sites, you will be surprised when you hunt and learn the actual cost of shipment for one item, By this time you will have already placed the order and will either have to accept it or complain as I did.
Several emails were passed back and forth in which they were quite rude and accused me of not being able to admit I was wrong concerning cheaper shipping prices on other sites for fewer items ordered. Other rude and insulting comments made to me were totally out of line and certainly lacked the professionalism you would expect from a business. Admittedly, I gave as good as I got, or better but, then again, I'm not the one in business with an obligation to be courteous to customers. I do not believe this is the way you should treat people regardless of who was wrong or right. I, personally, would not recommend shopping here.
