On 12/07/01 I ordered two bras from J.D. Marvel Products, Inc. Online. Had seen them advertised many times in the newspaper but figured ordering them online would get them to me faster. I received a confirmation email from them with my order number the same day.
I contacted the company on 1/12/02 and asked that they cancel my order since my debit account had not yet been charged. On 1/14/02 my account was suddenly debited by this company! On 1/16/02 the company emailed me to say I could not cancel my order because it was being prepared for shipping and I would receive it after a 2-3 week delay!
Today is 02/16/02 and I have still not received my bras, about 10 weeks since I placed this order, and 4 weeks since my account was debited and they sent their email stating my parcel should arrive in 2-3 weeks.
They no longer answer my email inquiries and their customer service line is busy 24 hours a day. Don't be fooled by the NY address, this company is in Canada.
Every week I see the ad in the newspaper for the same bras I ordered, from this same company. Do they only have the one set they sell over and over? Maybe they hope when I receive the ones I ordered they will be so worn out from shipping that I will return them and they can sell them to another sucker? That would explain the delay.
I don't think this company ever intends to ship until someone has caused such a fuss they are forced to ship a product in order to stay out of trouble.
Tell everyone you know to quit ordering from JD Marvel Products, Inc. And let's put them out of business.
