I just found out that these AP9 theives had taken $9.95 out of my checking account twice via my debit card this month. Thank God that I keep every receipt and check my account almost daily or else I think they could have tried to get away with a lot more.
Something interesting I remember about the time period that this happened in was that I received a "survey" call about my local city officials and there were over 50 questions I was asked to answer - uaually I hang up with in 2 seconds, but this guy was nice & I had a few minutes.
This turned into 1/2 an hour. Whenever I decide to engage these question people I NEVER use the words "YES" or "O.K." I always respond with a phrase or a return question so that they can't dub my voice over... Well I think I might have used those words or something like them during this "survey" and then they were dubbed over onto a different recording saying that I wanted to join their pathetic club. These charges apppeared only 4 or 5 days after the "SURVEY". Not only this, but this guy who called me didn't care that I knew NOTHING about my public officials because I made it clear that I had just moved here from a different city.
Please be careful when these intruders call your house - they might be up to something a lot more than you think.
