How disappointing to finally get some confirmation that my suspicions are correct. The first and only time I have ever ordered a purchase over the internet was with this loser company. Shame on me for not noticing their "mission" statement - "Recent studies have proven that middle-to-high income households globally have an unfair advantage in society, due to their early and steady exposure to current and high technology.
This same technology is the core structure of the employment industry and doubles as a brace for modern day-to-day activities, incorporating essential technology into our daily lives. Our company progressively works to bridge the gap between "able" low income household to "able" middle income households, Globally." "CPU Parts Limited makes no profit from your purchase, where all proceeds go directly towards the provided mission statement." How many computer sales companies work on a non-profit basis. Oh - and good news! The site says they also take donations.
My story is the same as the rest - they charged my account $499 immediately upon the requested purchase and never followed through. The only email response I recieved from them was identical to one already posted (step 7 of a possible 10 steps.) What makes it worse is that this was a family Christmas gift - my kids are very disappointed at the results. I will be contacting my attorney. My account was charged less than 40 days ago, therefore I am hoping a refund will be within reach. So much for my faith in internet financial transactions.
