First thing first - I was thrilled to find a company to extend me credit, as my credit is not the best and I did need a new computer.
Everything started out well. I filled out the application, was approved, and then it all went downhill from that point on.
I was informed that due to my credit score, I had to put more money (than the initial $99.00) down. Did that.
Computer was not what was promised. That's another story.
Also, was supposed to get a free printer and digital camera. Did not get either. I called a few months later and was told by a customer service rep that my $75.00 monthly payment would be canceled for one month to compensate for having to purchase my own printer. As for the free digital camera, she was "looking into it".
About two weeks ago, I inquired about my request, my payment had not been canceled for a month to compensate for the printer and I had not heard anything regarding the digital camera. I got a short/sweet e-mail back from James who stated that "Digital Camera offer was while supplies last" - great, but they are still advertising the offer, so what the f*ck? As for my $75.00, he stated it was taken off of the total lease. We'll see.
I know things are rough, and your credit might not be perfect, but please don't give these folks your business. You deserve much better.
