I called IGC to purchase a heater for a 2 car garage. I asked the sales rep to size a unit for the measurements of my garage which he did. Everything went fine, I recieved the heater and installed the next day.
After testing, it being 50 degrees outside temp, the heater only raised the indoor temp of a fully insulated garage 5 degrees in over 4 hours! I would say it is slightly undersized.
I called the follwing morning to exchange this heater for a larger unit. The sales rep informed me they do not take any returns on this heater! I was never told that when I purchased it, nor is it anywhere on the entire site! It did state a restock fee which I agreed to pay, and I was also going to purchase a more expensive heater.
The solution, by another one for $600 dollars! That is what they can do for me. Then he basically said there was nothing further they could do. I emailed to them but never got a response back... Big Surprise!
