I am an independent consultant for a cosmetic company. I met Leslie Rose who signed up as a consultant as well. Telling me and my upline that she was a very famous makeup artist who had done many movies and won an emmy award.
She was supposedly the daughter of Max Factor. To make a long story short, I offered her the inventory I had left over from a show, to get her product quickly.
I brought over over $1000 of inventory. She told me her accountant had her check book and that her assistant would come by my work the next day to bring me my check.
I trusted her and said ok. This was the Friday before Christmas and today is January 23 and still nothing. I have called, emailed and even gone to her home for my check and I get nothing but the runaround from her.
Today I tried to call her again and her number is disconnected. Needless to say, I think I got scammed!
