Eight squared illegally took money out of my checking account
I responded to Eight Squared's TV ad about Altovis, the natural vitamin. They said I could get a free sample if I pay just the shipping cost on the item. I put in my information from my debit card on the internet. The shipping cost was supposed to be only $4.50. Eight Squared illegally went into my account and took $79.99 on top of the $4.50.
When I reported this to Marquette Bank in Chicago... I filled out a form, I felt Marquette would credit my account and get the money back from Eight Squared since the $79.99 debit was NEVER AUTHORIZED.instead, Marquette came back and said that this was between the vendor and myself. I have now reported this to the Illinois Attorney General to try to recoup this money. Marquette said Eight Squared refused to return the money, so there was nothing they could do... THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!
