Countour Core, Belt, I ordered this belt from a TV ad claiming to take your waist down without heavy excercising. It had a 30 day trial for 14.95. I was given 15 day to return it before I even used it!

I saw this ad on TV in or around June 6th (not sure of excate date). It was a belt that you apply to your body with attatchments, running on batteries. It was said to work your abs by contracting your muscles and not having to do sit ups.
Well I was quite excited about that, but had not planned to buy because I am a senior on a very fixed income. I only wanted to try it for the 30 day trial for 14.95. That was advertised.

So I ordered it and paid for it with my debit card, which they demanded! Right then I should have had a clue when Pay Pal was not excepted. I recieved it in a resonable time. Opened it and started to read the instruction, which to my dismay, was very complicated. It had all sort of warning about what not to do before applying to your body. I had back sugery some years ago, so I could'nt do sit ups. Plus I had two rod iron pins implanted in my back. So I didn't want to use the belt until I contacted someone from this company concerning the pins in my back.

When I finally got ahold of someone I addressed my question and he was very curt and said: ask your doctor! I had the belt for 3 days before I could get my question answered, and that was cutting into my 30 days. I was upset.
I told him maybe I should send it back, and asked for the special code I had to write on the return box before they would except it, he said FINE! He gave me the code and I was trying to tell him I did'nt really want to send it right back but I was trying to expedite time in getting the code before hand. He stated It had to be returned within 15 days because I asked for the code, and that was on June 19th or 20th when he said that.

So there was no compremising, because he said I wanted to send it back and gave me 15 days from that date! And then he said if the belt wasn't recieved within those days, I would be charged (I can't say how much) but that's not right! I never got a chance to even try it and I wasn't going to put it on my body and not know for sure what the reaction would be.
They have my Debit card # and could try to take what ever amount they want. I can't afford to cancle my card and be charged for another one. I've been through that before.

So they just took my money and demanded their belt back, and I don't have the money for shipping now.
It's the end of the month for me, I only get 900.00 a mo SSI. Please help me. It may not seem much to you but this has happened to me before with other ad companies and I'm just tired of it... Plus cannot afford it!!!

I may not have all the detail right, but I'm not the best typist, I was a Cosmotologist, not a secretary... (sm) And a darn good one!
