I called DDC for a DNA paternity test. I sent in all my personal information on a DDC application form and a copy of my drivers license. About a month later, I got copies of my personal information and drivers license sent by mail to me from some hotel in Utah saying they accidentally received my information and sent it back to me based on my drivers license address. I am mortified!!! How does DDC in Ohio, who is supposed to be responsible and protect my personal information, I mean it's confidential and personal information, let copies of my information go to some place in Utah???
This is so outrageous. I will never recommend this company and I'm going to find out if this is identity theft. I have to go get a new drivers license and I am paranoid that someone is using my information now. There are so many scams out there. I wonder if DDC is involved in a scam providing information to scammers? I cannot tell you the trauma I have been through over having my personal information sent to me by someone I don't even know. I definitely do not recommend using this firm if you want to keep your identity and personal information confidential.
