This company is bad news. Everything from their confusing, unethical and disingenuous sales approach to their very irresponsible, unresponsive, and stonewalling customer service staff smacks of a company who thrives only by bilking honest people out of their money.
My brother placed an order over the phone. I listened to the tape recording of the conversation. He clearly stated at the onset that he only wanted one case. The sales rep, in pushing their "program" of continual shipments unless the customer phones in to STOP shipments, confused him to the point of saying OK to something, but it wasn't clear on the tape what he was agreeing to. More importantly, my brother subsequently asked three times: "After 90 days I am not obligated to buy any more. Correct?" The rep answered: "If you want more, call 1-800..." Nothing more was said about what my brother was purchasing. So, of course, they put him on their "program" of continual shipments, rather than shipping him the one case he wanted.
Bad choice of a customer to push their "program" on. My brother was terminally ill, and passed away very recently. The taped conversation indicated at every point that he was not interested in their program, but they have steadfastly refused to take any more than one case back, and that was only after the first request was refused.
As my brother was terminally ill at the time, he certainly was not interested in any continual shipment programs.
Aloecure's response has been pitiful, in spite of all evidence against their claims. They simply will not admit they are at fault and does not, under the very clear circumstances, have the good sense to accept a return. I have called the corporate office in WA state, and got a similar response, additionally promising that the owner, Douglas Jewett, would return my call. Of course he hasn't.
Their is a reason why the BBB has rated this company as a F. As is failing grade. Their program is intentionally flawed from start to finish. As for the product itself, I cannot endorse it. It didn't help my brother.
