I sent a certified cancellation letter to Bally Total Fitness 1 day after I signed a contract which I felt like I was pressured into signing. I went there to claim a free pass so I could try out the club and somehow before I knew it I ended up with a three year contract in my hand after a salesman used everything on me that he had up his sleeve. Back to my mailed cancellation, since I didn't see my account credited back for my charge for set up fee I wanted to call today and make sure they cancelled and I am getting my money back... Well, I ended up calling this number 1-562-484-2980... It doesn't look like a 1-800 to me. Therefore I sould get ready to pay some long distance charges for about 40 minutes I spent on the phone waiting to talk to a costumer service rep. Also, I would like to mention one more thing. It took them 2 days to take my money... We'll did it take them the same to give them back??? I say "NO"
