I ordered ghd straightners from GHD Online Website, believing they were based in the UK. The price was advertised in sterling as costing 51.90 however the email confirmation i received said the cost was 59.29 inlucing postage.
The sum of 73.50 was taken from my bank account plus 1.50 for an overseas transaction. When i emailed the address provided to querie this i was told this was due to the exchange rate...
When the tracking number supplied to follow the parcel stated the origin of this item was singapore I emailed this company to ask if these straightners were genuine and it was not a great surprise that i did not get a response.
They do not highlight on their website that these are sold in Hong Kong. I have been mislead and overcharged. Whilst i thought i was getting a bargain, i have actually been conned by these people.
Currently this item shows as being held by customs at the destination on the tracking service. I have no idea if they will actually make their way to me or not.
I hope something is done about this company as they are ripping off innocent people. Please avoid this website.
