Sharon Raposa and Anthony Raposa hire in home caregivers for patient care of Anthony. Sharon is a hoarder, who is narcissistic, and OCD. She has the live in caregiver sleep in a room full of dirty trash where she stores all of the house debris. She has her dead mothers belongings packed to the ceilings ith trash stuffed under the beds, in the closet, and up to the ceilings. Her dead mother died years ago. The trash is many year old and the room is filthy. She refuses to clean out the room or throw away garbage belonging to her mother, who died many years ago. She will not clean the room nor allow her caregivers to clean the room. She hires live in caregivers who she pays less than $4.25 an hour to work 24 hours a day with no relief. Her father is up all night long and sleeps during the day, when Sharon expects the caregiver to be up all day, clean, housekeep, and keep a 14 hour, all day schedule for her father, after being up all night with him, every night.
She gives her father expired medications from 2006 that were her dead mothers old prescriptions. She will not throw them out, she freezes rotten fruit to place in shakes that she insists that the caregiver feed him every morning. She has been accused of elder abuse by one Dr. And she Dr. Shopped until she found Dr. S that will order anything she tells them to. Health care professionals who cared for him in the nursing home and hospital have complained that she does not follow medical guidelines and does what she wants, even though it is against medical policy, and unsafe for her father. She states the hospital professionals are all stupid and don't know what they are doing. She forces her father to eat when he is septic, she will not let him sleep during the day when he is up all night. He cries that he wants to sleep and he is not hungry when she forces him to eat again after a full meal. Anthony is afraid of her, she yells at him, threatens him and storms out without telling him she is leaving, he has asked for hours when she is coming back, becasue she storms out without telling him good bye. She swears at the caregivers and tells them that nurses are stupid, lazy, dirty and thieves, she says the Dr's, nurses, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, and hospital administrators, don't know what they are doing, everyone is stupid, except for her. She hired one caregiver full time and then cut her hours when a relative showed up from out of town. Sharon was abusive and angry with this caregiver who complained about being shortchanged in hours and income. She failed to pay another caregiver who she fired after the caregiver was up 24 hours a day, three days in a row, taking care of her father and then could not work another 14 hour day with no sleep. She fires the caregivers in a letter and tells them to get out now, leaving them homeless with no notice. She cheated the caregiver by not paying a final check, when the caregiver appeared for payment, she slammed the door in her face. Every paycheck for almost three months was short at least one full day, except for two. Sharon is narcissistic, a hoarder, and a cheat, expecting caregives to work for nothing and treating them like trash, and slaves. The list goes on about her with horror stories, her verbal and physical abuse of her father and caregivers, and her cheating caregivers of their measly salary. She fired the caregiver and left her homeless, four days before Christmas, with no final paycheck. Her so called fiance said "she wants people to kiss her ass", a classic sign of a self centered, out of control, abusive, narcissist. Do not work for her, she will be reported to elder abuse services. She also has had caregivers working for her, under the table, without claiming taxes for many, many, years, in violation of federal IRS law. She will be reported. You have been warned, the list could go on, but you get the picture.
