I was attracted to an email ad from The Orignal Diet Patch. I agreed to receive one week's free trial of the product. The product continued to be sent to me after the free trial period ended.
I had no problem with that until after about one month when I discovered that the product was not effecting the change in my body weight the way that it was described. The company stated in its packing/shipping statement that if I ever was dissatisfied with the product that I could call and/or email the company (and numbers and email address were provided) an cancel at any time and that I would be given a full refund.
I attempted to cancel by calling and emailing only to be given a message when I called to send an email to such and such address. When I sent the email, I was given a telephone number to call to cancel. Back and forth. Back and Forth.
I continued to be billed each month in the amount of $66.90. I noticed that each month a different billing company was listed on my credit card statement.
I called the credit card company only to be told that if I gave the credit card number to this company, then I was liable for any charges, even though I have repeatedly told the company to cancel my order.
I have returned orders to the address on the shipping label from the company only to have the item returned to me with a note stating "No such address."
