Pharmacycards.com withdrew $139.00 from my personal checking account without my knowledge or permission. When I questioned the customer card company who handled their account, I was told that this company obtained my personal information from a 'marketing partner'. They claim to have sent a letter which stated that if I didn't respond back to them within a certain time period, they would 'assume' that I wanted their service and that they would charge me for their services.
I have sufficient medical and pharmacceutical coverage and I did not nor would I have responded to any such correspondence if I had receive it.
They have, as of today, 3/15/04 caused me $150.00 om bank overcharge fees as well as the $139.00 they illegally withdrew from my account.
