My mom who is 77 years old went to her first visit to WESTERN DENTAL in Santa Rosa, California in September. She had 4 teeth pulled. The also did her top and bottom dentures and they were suppose to be completed within 4 weeks. It took more then 2 months and she was in the middle of moving to Sparks, Nevada. The dentures were sent to the Sparks office in 1 and when they arrived the dentist here said they were absolutely horrible and that he was going to make her a new set. Another 2 months goes by and she finally gets her dentures and he fits the top in and they hurt he, r but are somewhat bearable to live with. The bottom dentures were so horribly made they hurt her so she couldnt even have them in her mouth. She leaves Western Dental and comes back again to havethe bottom dentures refitted, but the dentist that she was seeing, was no longer working there. She saw another dentist by the name of Tabibi Fariba. He asked if she was able to wear the dentures and she said no, not at all! He spent 3 visits trying for over an hour at each visit filing them down and shoving them so hard in my mom's mouth, she had sores! I said, that is enough! He was never able to fit them, and now she is out over $1000! I went in and spoke with the office manager and she said so sorry, but nothing we can do for her! I was She went to another dentist in Sparks, NV named DR. Davies and he was excellent. He took a picture of the dentures and said they were so crooked, they would never ever been able to fit her! She filed a grievance with the corporate office of WESTERN DENTAL and of course they decided against reimbursing her any money. How can businesses keep running like this? They are not held accountable for their own mistakes and it is simply a rip-off!
My mom cannot afford to replace the dentures now and so she sits at home away from people because of her missing front bottom teeth, that she can't afford to pay for again.
