The gym is a pretty ratty old place with old equipment. The equipment they have usually breaks all the time. The place although it has many downsides ultimately lost a lot of approval when my membership expired they continued to keep charging me the monthly fee. I had previously called and asked what I have to do to cancel and they said just let the membership expire. So a month later I notice they keep charging my credit card. I called and the girl said this is unfortunate but they cannot refund the that extra month charge but they will cancel it. So next month I have another fee and called back and not I get someone else and they say the first person had no right to do that and I must come in and sign the cancellation despite not living in the state anymore to cancel the membership and they will not stop charging until this is done and since they said I did not give 30 days notice of canceling they will once I sign take that as the 30 days notice and hit me for more money and fees. The contract expired and how they get off saying this is crazy. I told the girl this and she was like I hate to sound like a b* but too bad and you can dispute it and not pay but if you don't pay we will keep charging you subsequent gym membership month fees until you do pay.
