I went in for my annual prescription refill for high blood pressure.
They scheldued me for every test they offer.
I went in for the first test and the girl said that will be $125.00 I said heyyyy I don't have that kind of money. I only get $821.00 per month social security.
She said how much do you have. I said I think I have $25.00 she said that will do... Give it to me... So I gave her all I had which was $25.00 that left me nothing till payday... About 15 days away.
They did what ever they did and I went home... A couple days later I got a bill for an additional $100.00 Plus a note that medicare had paid either $1299.00 or $1499.00
I called and cancled all my other appointments.
The decent thing for them to do is to discuss any and all financial responsibilities before making any appointments or schelduing any test.
I told some other Patients of theirs about this and the people I told also gets social security. They called and cancled their appointments and Kelsey - Seybold billed them any way. This could wreck and did wreck my social security for a month. Help us. We gotta do something. This could be the biggest single ripoff ever.
