I was injured by the SPRI Xertube Resistance Band. The rubber part shot out from under my feet and hit me directly in my right eye. I now have an Opercullated Hole with partial vision loss, the possibility of Retinal Detachment, headaches. I contacted SPRI, they claim no responsibility because they said "We sell hundreds of thousands of these things a year". The Xertube does not come with a safety warning like they should, and like other companies put on their product. I have an Emergency Room bill, an Eye Specialist bill, for 2 apponitments and now have to see the eye doctor regularly to monitor the injury. I was not asking them for much in the way of compensation, just the medical and a little extra for the future medical bills I will be getting. I would like to warn people of the dangers of this product, it is like a large rubberband. Because of the amount of injuries from the bungee cords, they had to put on warning labels. Why would this be any different.
