In December last year I had a cataract operation at Bennett and Bloom. This was the worst thing that ever happened to me. First I didn't receive the correct information about what needed to be done and what it was going to cost me. I was obligated to pay up front and I thought that I was going to receive most of my money back when the insurance was going to pay them. My mistake was that I signed a form (BIG MISTAKE) that allowed them to collect their fees. The form didn't exactly outlined what the pay was going to be (THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW THIS - THE MORE UNINFORMED YOU ARE THE MORE THEY CAN CHARGE YOU).
They charged me for surgery that I didn't know that they were going to perform $700-800 (that the insurance didn't pay for) and all other costs that I didn't even know why I paid for them. For months they didn't submit the charges to my insurance and didn't return the money they still owed me.
During the operation the surgeon Bennett had scratched my cornea and I was in pain and could not do anything for at least 10 days.
They have a crook for an office manager that lies through his nose. He lied to me and to the people from the Legal office where I asked for help.
They advertise that they are the best in the area. I wonder who ran the campaign - the office manager??
