This so called insurance company, lucky for me was attached to a credit card and not a bank account. Refused to pay for things like lab work and doctors examines.
The real kicker came when I had to travel out of the country and needed to refill a prescription early for the trip. This was for work. They tried to tell me it was illegal and the pharmacist said it was not. The drug was very expensive. I terminated the insurance and back charged the last payment. They sent some contract thing to Citi bank which rolled over like a dog on me. Be cause of the small amount of the last charge i ate it. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE in my opinion (SCUM BAGS), I am not saying any other private health provider is going to behave better as they know it cost money to sue. I would recommend not not getting insurance and just going to the ER (which you do not have to pay and does not show up on your credit report). This should force the government to do something about health insurance companies in general.
