On April 3 I finally decided to order some of these acai berry pills after seeing all the pop-ups on yahoo and other sites. The trial offer pills arrived in the mail and I started to take them immediately. After about a week and a half I didn't notice any kind of results so I called back on April 17 and cancelled my order through there automated system which prompts you to hit 2 to cancel your order and then does not give you any kind of confirmation number. I thought nothing else about it until I noticed some charges in my accout for $39.95 on April 23. I called the 1-866-949-0138 number and talked with a rep named Alma and then I talked to a supevisor named Lulu who supposedly sent in my request to the refund dept. And told me that I would have my refund in 3-5 business days. I called back on April 28 to see why my money wasn't back in my account yet and I spoke with a supervisor named Dean Gomez who told me I wouldn't get my refund back for another 30 days. I immediately called my bank and told them what was going on that I had cancelled this order, was still charged without my permission, and that I had spoke with 2 supervisors who gave me 2 different stories about when I would get my money back. My bank pretty much told me that it was my fault because any time I give someone my debit card information I am authorizing them to take my money. They also told me I had to wait 30 days to see if FWM would refund me my money.
I continued to call FWM and everytime I would end up with this supervisor Dean who told everytime that my refund was being processed and I would just have to wait. He refused to let me speak to his supervisor. I look the company up and found out that the 2 registered agents for the business is Brian J Weiss and Robert W Harris. I called 411 to see if they had listed numbers but to no avail. I decided to wait the 30 days to see if my money would show back up in my account.
On May 22 which was the 30th day I called FWM back and again I got Dean Gomez. I have demaned my money and threaten that I was going to report them to everybody that I could think of. He just sits and holds the phone and offerered no explanation as to why my money is not refunded yet. He then finally tells me something about the process that the bank goes through to credit the money back to my account. I ended up hanging up on him out of frustration. I contacted my bank for the 3rd or 4th time and now they are telling me that I have to file a police report and bring them a copy of it and then I can fill out some fraud forms and by the way I am getting ready to close my accounts with that bank. I have already opened a new account somewhere else because I totally feel that they didn't have my best interest in mind. It is now June 13 and my money is still not back in my account.
I have attempted to contact FWM about 3 more times and I'm not able to reach anybody now. Can somebody please tell me what to do about FWM it is not fair to honest hard working people that are just simply ordering weight loss pills off the internet! They need to be STOPPED!!
