Signs Of A Scam... Midwest Center For Stress And Anxiety, Lucinda Bassett, Attacking Anxiety And Depression Program FCC, Infomercial, SCAM, overpriced, prey on consumers, tricks

A: NO mention of $ cost of program during infomercial, No mention of even S&H cost for "free trial".
B: www.stresscenter.com/mwc / Log on to website: Don't recall which page it was on but rather tacky, self-absorbed full-body photo of the woman whose going to change your life. (not a headshot w / upfront credentials).
C: Searching website 7 or 8 pages, still NO mention of $. Only thing I found was obscure bottom of FAQ page, mention of $60 qrtly charge for online participation. Still NOTHING about charges for signing up/ordering. Just LOTS of links to sign up for FREE TRIAL... LOTS!
D: the END of any shred of doubts I may have still had about doing business w / these people...
When you go to LEAVE the website, a POP-UP window opens trying to log you into a "live agent" for a "great last-minute deal offer" and worst of all... To CLOSE this window the wording is blatant trickery, you have to click CANCEL to stay on w / the agent on the site and "OK" to close the thing. Read it carefully.
By now it's time to GOOGLE Midwest Center and how NOT shocking! There's a list of links to complaints on sites such as this one!
By now anyone should be aware that rather or not the PROGRAM is helpful, these people are running every trick the the marketing book. That always means there's a ridiculous price point or payment program they are determined not to disclose until they've tricked you out of your payment information &/or some other fine non-existent print that will always leave the consumer on the losing end.
I wish more people would start paying attention to some pretty easy-to-spot elements to these scam artists so they would stop getting away w / so much (mostly your $!!).
If I see this infomercial on again, I WILL write the station airing it.
