The doctor here told me there was nothing wrong with my eyes, yet never once actually LOOKED at my eyes. When I told him I had trouble seeing at night, he responded "yeah? So does everyone else." He was insulting and the exam he performed was rushed and incomplete. I drove down the street the same day to get a complete eye exam at Lenscrafters, and found out I have astigmatism. I drove BACK to 20/20 to inquire about a refund. I explained to the manager that I didn't feel the doctor had performed a thorough exam and never mentioned my having an astigmatism. The manager, Mr. Mastrangelo, told me it was a "matter of opinion". Further, he refused to provide me any contact information for his superior so that I may contact him directly. I have already filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Florida Board of Optometry.
*Just a note: the woman I met at Lenscrafters said her and her father had the same experience years ago with this same doctor. He is incredibly rude, and I get the impression he is this way with everyone. He will rush you in and out, relying solely on the results of the computer and never look at your eyes. I don't know how he gets away with such lame work, but I hope he suffers some consequence for treating people the way he does.
