Major Order Mess Up

I ordered the easy curves for my wife, for a couple months she was wanting it. So I jump online, I order it, give all my info, including credit card. A few minutes later I get an email telling me that my order has been processed, along with an automated receipt. This was Feb. 14th. Feb. 17th, I get another email stating that my order has been received at their warehouse, and that I would get an email as soon as it was shipped.

I paid for the rush shipping, so I figured I would be getting an email by the next day at the latest. It is now March 9th, and I haven't received anything. My wife called them about a week ago, and all that was stated was that the product would be shipped asap and that the express shipping would be refunded. She called again today, and now they are claiming that the order was never processed, and that I was never charged.

Will have to wait till tomorrow to find out if I was charged. But why go through all the trouble of making me think something is coming in the mail that I believed I paid for if they never charged me? Also makes me wonder if they weren't going to charge me, why did they need my debit/credit card information?!?
