Shame on FWM Laboratories. I clicked on their link, (unable to find it again, now) from a reputable site, read the testimonials and felt it was something i really wanted to try. You know, cause Oprah wouldn't steer me wrong... Poor lady doesn't even know what's going on I bet! If i were her, i'd sue their butts... But, i digress... Too good to be true!
I ordered my "free" trial sample, gave my credit card info, ect on January 7,09 and anxiously awaited my "free" sample. I was charged the $3.95 and expected it to arrive any day. Left for vacation on Jan 16 returned on the 25 and found my account also billed for $87.13. I called immediately and was told i should have cancelled after 14 days... Hmmmmm, if my math is correct and the product was delivered while i was on vacation, i still had a few days to "try it out"...
Several phones calls, many minutes on hold, i cancelled the acct on 1/26... Still within the 14 days if my math is correct... Which i believe it is... I was told initially that the case would be reviewed. Still no word from them, so more minutes on the phone today and i finally got through to a real person, hard to understand but the gist of it is that i had 14 days to cancel upon receipt of the product... I understand that, but still in question if i will be refunded my money.
I did get an email from them today letting me know it was being reviewed. I hope and pray it is being taken care of but reviewing the many complaints about this company, i am not holding my breath. Had some contact with my bank in which they just said that it was my fault as i didn't cancel according to their "terms and conditions".
What a scam! I have never had this happen before... What if i was poor? That is 2 weeks of groceries for me. Too trusting of others... Beware!
