I received a email offer of 30 day free trial for Bromalite. I received a small bottle. Was charged the shipping to my debate card. Wasn't impressed with the product. Didn't work. Phoned the number noted on my checking account to cancel the account and request my refund. This wasn't a free trial, it was a scam. I had $69.95 taken from my checking I wanted refunded for my 30 day money back guarentee. I never really received a full size bottle, told them I didn't want the membership. I didn't authorize for continual withdrawal of my account.
Jan. 16th phone call to them they told me the phone number didn't match the one I gave them. I told them all the possible other numbers that could be used including my daughters phone # and of course they say none match. However, they had my name in the system, my address and certainly my billing information that I requested refunded. I somehow found a email which I can't find again, I emailed a request to refund and cancel. That was Jan. 16th. Still my account is charged $69.95. They haven't addressed my request.
This is frustrating and I don't know what additional steps to take to secure my account from further withdrawal.
I am considering BBB and the States Attorney for consumers.
