I have been on a Animas pump for 6 years now. I have been diabetic for 18 yrs now. Having the pump has made life great. I am on my 2nd pump that I have had for 2 yrs. (every 4 yr you upgrade).
It recently got some damage from a puppy. It is still functioning but is no longer water proof, the button are hanging, and the cap has a hard time screwing on. The pump is still under warrenty for another 2 yrs. I called to get a replacement and was honest about what happen. I was told there is nothing that they can do for me and if i was another i would have to pay for it.
My pump is my life line and now i have to hope that it will last another 2 yrs. They are not willing to help me in anyway and i have been with them for 6 yrs now. I just want anyone that is looking into this company to get a pump that the cust. Service sucks and i would not recommened them to anyone. I just want everyone to know about this company and how they are operating. Once you get a pump from them they dont care.
