Wu-Yi Source Weight Loss Tea
Scam! Debit your account, or credit card for "Extra bonus services"

I signed up for this program as I like tea and thought it was a neat idea. I first realized it was a scam when I opened the box. The weight loss book included says to remove caffeine from your diet as it causes you to "hold on" to excess pounds. When I read the box of tea however it says that the brewed product has more caffeine than a cup of coffee! LOL. I should have looked it up first.
So I canceled my order and shipped back my unopened box of tea.

That's when I started getting extra charges on my credit card. When I phoned the company to ask them why they told me that I agreed to these charges when I signed up for their product and that these charges come from their parent companies. It is ILLEGAL to sign someone up for a paid program unless they request the program specifically.

When I phoned the company they told me that there was nothing they could do. But they gave me the phone numbers of the companies that made these charges. Two of those phone numbers were recorded messages that told me how to access my new purchases online.

So,
I went back to the source of the problem, the Wu-Yi site. I logged on to the online chat customer service. I did not ASK for a refund. I TOLD them that I had been in contact with my local police and that what they were doing is illegal. Then I TOLD them that I expected a full refund and a cancellation of my card in relation to ANY and ALL products related to this company.

Lastly, during the chat session, I clicked on the email button that was in the popup. That puts up a message that lets the customer service rep and myself know that a transcript of the conversation is being emailed to myself once the conversation ended. When the customer service person told me that I would be getting a refund, I asked if that meant that my account was cancelled and if there would be any more charges on my card from that company. She stated that there would be no more charges.

So I asked if I would be charged for ANYTHING ever again. She said no charges for anything ever. So I asked if I was correct in saying that I would be getting a full refund of all monies paid and would never be charged again. She responded that I would be recieving all my money and would never be charged again.

By asking her three times the same question and receiving the same answer there is no way anyone could misunderstand what was said or what was asked. I have filed away my transcript of the conversation and await my refund.

DO NOT sign up for this tea program. It is a scam for tea you can buy at your local oriental market for way less. Then they sign you up for monthly "e-books" to aid in your loss. No where on the site does it tell you about the "e-books" even though their phone people insist on it. They charge you for these "e-books" every month and if you catch this too late they won't refund you the full price.

Run far away from this company and save your credit.
I wonder if Oprah and Rachel Ray know that their names are being used to advertise a scam company?
