I saw the add for AcaiBerry 500 and the Total cleanse on my space as well. So i thought i would give it a shot.
I paid the extra 9.95 for s&h so it would ship to me sooner, beacause unlike some people, i did read the fine print because i have been ripped off from a different company before.in the fine print below where you confirm your order, it does say that after the 2 week trial period, they will charge you the 80 some odd dollars for the monthly supply, and will continue to do so until you call and cancel.
I waited and watched my bank account, and they didnt even charge me the shipping until the day it arrived at my house! (when i later spoke to them they told me it was because it was in high demand and on back order) So, i tried to call them and cancel, and i got the same message mentioned in some of the other reports. It would hang up after exactly 5 seconds every time i tried to call. Then i tried to call the next day and got the message that they were closed. But the hours of operation were correct according to time standards.
On the third day, i tried to call Total Cleanse again, and it put me on hold for exactly 45 mins! I finally got ahold of someone, and they promptly cancelled my order and told me the trial was mine to keep. As far as it working, ive been taking it for a week and all ive noticed is alot of diarrhea and im going like three times a day.
I had bigger problems with AcaiBerry500.. Their customer service reps didnt speak english very well, and i got hung up on 4 different times when they finally figured out that i was trying to cancel my order! And this was after being on hold for up to 30 mins each time i called! I never received this product but was charged the s&h.
I believe that these companies have you wait so long, and make it impossible to get through half the time beacause they know people will get tired of waiting on hold and just hang up and keep putting it off. My best advice is to just keep trying to call, and ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT!!!
