I signed up for a "free trial" of Green Tea Pill Power, as part of a special offer to get a gift certificate from Michael's.
I received a shipment with a note saying my credit card will now be charged $89.00 per month, and in order to cancel, I need to call after 6:00 pm MST. However, their office is only open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MST. I called during their open hours and was on hold endlessly - the recording warns you that you will be on hold an average of "23 minutes". Who has time for that?
They give no other way to contact them via internet or fax or any other phone numbers.
They do not give refunds. Beware! I will never sign up for another "free trial" for anything, ever again!
I finally got through on the phone, and was told they would cancel my account, but I would not get a refund for the $89.00, since I failed to call during the 14 day trial. (How are you supposed to know if you want to continue, if you don't wait the entire 14 days? Thus, it is NOT a 14 day free trial, is it?)
