I sign up for a nice inexpense gym and two days later somebody called me to come in for my free personal training hour. Well what I got was scamed for 20 minutes. When I showed up for my training he was still with other people so I got on a tredmill. Then a half hour later he comes walking up. He say to me we don't have alot of time so lets get started. He told me about all the things that they could help me with and how great they where. He showed me a couple of exercises and how to use one peice of equiment. Then we went back to the table and he told me how much it was and I hesatated for a minute. He said if you want I can take a check for part of it and you can post date a check for the rest. I really wanted help lossing some weight so I did it. Well I was so stupid I should have walked away. He cashed both of the check at the same time. I called the corprate office and all they did was refund the overdraft charge. I told them I wanted to get out of the contract and they said you have to send us 270.00 and a letter in writing saying you want to cancel. I told the lady I would send the letter and I did, but I did not have 270.00 to send. I called them to find out if they could just deduct the 270.00 from the 339.00 that I have already given them for the signup fee and the frist and last months, and she said no. I asked her if there was someonr=e else I could speak with and she said no. When I got off the phone with her I call and cancel the card they had on file to charge for monthly 150.00 fee which I found out was 4 session a month. I feel so stupid for getting myself into this. It will cost me 609.00 to get out of and I only used one session which is another story.
