Dr. Tim has been a friend on my husband and mine for over 4 years. We never saw him in his Chiropractic office, but when I got in a car accident, I didnt know any other chiropractors, so I went to him. He sexually harassed me at each appointment. He talked about the type of bra I was wearing, and touched me inappropriately (not in sexual areas, he just never took his hands off me. It was very uncomfortable.) Since I had already started going to him, I couldnt really change and go to anyone else.
I never got results from the treatments he preformed. He stated multiple times that he would refer me to a massage therapist so that my insurance would pay for it, and he never did. The car accident was over two years ago, and I still have pain from this accident that I am working through with a different physical therapist, and a new chiropractor.
I should have found a different chiropractor after this, but my husband hurt his back, and so we scheduled an appointment for him to see Dr. Tim. He went in for a couple treatments, and nothing ever got better. Then earlier this year in January, my husband had the exact same pain in his back as before, so we went back. Tim stated that the reason he didnt get results was because he did not come often enough.
So my husband started going twice a week in January, after being told that our co-pay was $15.00 for each visit. He went for a few weeks, and still when nothing worked, he decided to start an exercise routine and stop seeing Dr. Tim. This helped immediately. Why didnt Dr. Tim recommend starting a work-out program? Because he is a horrible chiropractor.
So in May, we got a bill for almost $200.00 from Dr. Tim, when my husband had paid his co-pay at each visit. Apparently they decided that they hadnt gotten enough money out of us, so instead of charging us $15.00 per visit, they upped it to $45.00, because of an insurance misunderstanding.
I called and complained, but the receptionist said there was nothing they could do about it, so I paid the balance in full. Now, about a month later, I was sent to collections for $120.00, with no explanation from Alta View Chiropractics as to what it is for. I am livid, and want everyone to steer clear of this place!
Timothy Wann is a horrible chiropractor, and will not provide you with any results. He will also charge you more than agreed to, and then send you to collections when your balance is paid in full. Stay away from him!
