I am a victim of the Crunchless scam. I ordered a DVD and the scrunchless abs ball back in Feb. When I checked my bank account I noticed that I was charged $36.88 for my purchase and I was also charged two additional charges of $19.89 for two more of the same DVD's.
I called them and brought this to their attention right away. I was told that I must have made the mistake and that the two additional DVD's had already shipped. I had to wait until I received them, and send them back with a special number on them and then I would be refunded my money. I did that the same day they arrived.
While checking my bank account for the refund I discovered that they billed my account for three more charges of $43.97 each. I called again and got manager named Froi. Any warm body that works for Crunchless Abs has the authority to take money out of your checking account buy not one of them has the authority to credit you. I told her that I was at my witts end with this company and she assured me that someone from their Corporate would contact me in 24-48 hours. That was 5 days ago and no one has called.
I called them back again and got another manager named Kenneth (who also has no authority) Again they told me that I had joined their club and that the items have already shipped and I would have to wait until they arrived to send them back. Naturally they claim to not have any record of my two DVD's that I had returned, and they can't refund that money until they get them. I again stressed that I did not join anything.
I am going to have to close out my checking account so that they can no longer help themselves to my money. They will not give me a phone number to a corporate, they claim to not know the names of anyone in their corporate, Froi went as far as to say that she has no idea who owns this company.
Ordering anything from this company is like being in a vicious circle. They can charge you for items that never come, and if they do come and you send them back, they say that they never received them so they can't credit you. If these last three items do I arrive, I will have to pay to have them shipped back just so that I can have a record of it but I'm not even sure if that will do any good because no one at this comany claims to have to ability to credit you.
I called agin this morning and got yet another "manager" named Lisa who asssured me that I would get a call back today. Needless to say I did not. I will continue to try to get my hands on a phone number to a corporate office.
