For the last year I have sent back numerous boxes of products, called Melaleuca direct requesting they stop sending me products and also faxed asking to discontinue the "membership".
It all started with a sorry story from one of the "lead" Reps in Rockledge, Florida. He bragged about the products, used his authority in our community and convinced many of us that we should and stated "try the product and if you don't like it I will stop it". I misunderstood that this would be a one time
trial. "MISTAKE" The products do not smell good nor was there value to them.
The saga continues with a large group of my friends. Out of 5 of us signing up together I am the only one that the credit card company cannot help. Everyone else has finally gotten Melaleuca to stop charging them after complaining for months but I have not had mine stopped. I have put in disputes but Melaleuca continues to rip me off. I get a charge automatically every month even after complaining and following their direction on how to stop it. Our "local friend" says "I know the president personally, I will call and get this done".
3 Months since that statement and the bills keep coming.
I have used Shaklee products for a lot of years and have never had this issue. I will be going back as soon as I get help in stopping these unauthorized charges.
Friendship now has turned into me being used to get up the latter for money.
