I am a member of Gold's Gym in Burlington, NC. I was given a free workout by Stan Woodruff, who insulted my intelligence and sold me training from the beginning of the workout. He pressured me into the sale telling me I was at risk and did not know how to help myself. He then sold me a SPECIAL program but did not explain anything I was signing, and did not give me a copy. I have done enough research and put on enough pressure to get this contract cancelled. This company is a spin off of the EFT GROUP and relies on clients to forget what they sign and charge clients months of training based on renewal. They are only in maybe 8 health clubs not 30 like they told me, and for the most part all there people quit or dissappear without any advance warning to there customers. This is a Boilerroom company who has a short term leases with the respective gyms, so they can flee and screw the clients out of thousands of dollars and there training sessions. Anybody in Richmond hill, Ga, Burlington, NC, Graham, NC ect should think twice before they do anything with this company. They have recently closed a location in Jacksonville, Florida (Superfitness Clubs) which is located on 7500 Beach Blvd, where they have left hundreds of clients with no training and no notice. Its ashame that this type of company isn't reguated to protect us.
