Quite a while back i posted regarding a major drugstore, walgreens and how my medication was supposedly given to me, NOT, it was Ultram, a synthethic morophine, I am on pain managemnet, I used to use them all the time, now onlyif middle of night or sunday when my Son needs something because he is sick, i dare them not to help me. Since i last reported, a cop, yes, i filed, said they had video, i did not get to see, said they erased it after her view of it, we had an alibi, and it is the principle of the matter Peter and all others who resoponded to the first topic.
I love to shop there, but not in claremore, i have gone inthere, said hi, to the manager and other involved and noone says a thing if my basket is full, only one time since, but if no items, i am asked to leave.
Claremore, is a smaller town and we only have one walgreens, one late pharmcy and holiday pharmacy, them.
They jack up their prices, they are rude and make you wait hours if not careful, i have seen others get less then they should, always on meds that are for pain or stress.
Iam on pain mangement still, i now go to a friendly hometown place, even though they all know me, guess what, they ask for my id and i have to sign,
I investigated this and it is happeing all over the south, several cases in florida nad on the east coast.
I am a substance abuse counselor, and yes a pain managemennt patient, you can be both, respect is the key and God is the leader, respect for meds, i take stronger stuff and it is not replaced if it were lost or stolen
I had a patient hooked on ultram. I saw personally the withdraws. We disussed it, to see if it was mental or physical, guess what it was both, and he was also diagnosed by a physician.
I also have had severeal who got hooked working at pharmacies, most at walgreens, using the electric counters, is nothing compared to manually and abeing alone inthe pharmcy is the worst thing a pharmacist can do not knowing or caring about who they hire, many times, late at night, holidays, only one working. Also, if you ae shorted, to bad, even where i go now i check the count, i know mistakes are made, we are human, not once have i had a problem, usually they get them ready without me calling, on the stuff that does not need a written, walgrees lost out on me,
fibromyalgia is a disease whished on nobody and the medicine i take is very expensive, i also have blood issues and shots in twice a day, no joke, 4000 dollars a month at the hometown and 8000 at walgreens. I am disabled, getting ssdi, which I earned, before i read, "free money: i am 41,
Peter, you are rude and probably a walgreens pharmcist. Luckily i get my meds for nothing due to fixed income, and i be the taxpayer is glad i go to the hometown to save the them 2000 dollars a month for the rest of my life, I take luvenox, another guy takes three shots a day, imagine the savings he is giving the taxpayer, my pharmacy even delivers and if i am waiting, fifteen minutes is the most i wait, ever.

Ifound out they fired a girl the next day and i got my report, i only paid 1.00 for ultram then, they changedit to cash at 45.00. Changed it to ultram and not tramadol and closed it out,
My doc, a great doc, believes in fibro and tries all he can to help not only me, sends noone there because of my story. He tried to get me to go to the hometown first but due to shopping more than twice a week at wg, i did not ake his advice, until this happened, the cop was not even a detective,
Peopel judge so easily, as peter has, we are not drug seekers, we are in in chronic pain, i wish noone sickness but if you ever have to deal with a diesase as I have for ten years and it only gets worse, remssion is great until rain hits and the pain is worse, I can only pray for you and hope that judgemetn will not find you in hell when we see jesus, you do not know me,
The police gave me her, like you she judged and claremore almost got sued, i found a lawyer, he and my doc both said even though it is synthtiic morophine, it is not scheduled and the tapes are mysteriously missing, i went as far as the board to report them and they have had several complaints of bottles with pills missing, went to the top of walgreens in the area and even his boss, this is not a done deal, it is the PRINCIPLE.
Peter, i hope you read this and others like you, Do you have morals, values and principle, do you expect to be treated like you would treat others, souds like you are not open and very judgemental, good luck when seeing jesus, bythe way, that is not judgemental, it is an observation from your post.
People please understand, that not all walgreens are like this one but please be careful you are getting the right meds and the right count and if somethign happens to where itis gone, demand the video, they all have one, get the police immediately, and suprise them for the video,
Anothe case, a man would have died if he had taken what they gave him, mixed up baba and wrong meds given, what is going on with them, they hire anybody, call all back there to work and use electronic machines, that take twice as long, i have sent several people away from there and walmart and to he hometown pharmacy, it is called Claremore Compounding Pharmacy and Darrien and David are great as well as all the helpers whose degrees are easily seen and they are trained well. Never left alone and always have it in stock, they even make their own stuff, great place, open minds and and understand chronic pain suffering, burning and all that goes with my fibro and others problems,
I challenge all in claremore and the surrounding area to give them a try, they will deliver, free and even then it is id time, not to mention my file states i am the only one who can get mine without a written note, and my signature is on file, the cameras are in full sight and the prices are half of walgreens, theyare not greedy,
Taxpayers do you really want all the disabled who get free or low cost copays to go to walgreens or walmart and pay doble, you are actually paying.
Most opiate addicts started in the pharmacy, really, stats show this, just look it up. Not all who are on pain meds are addicts, if you really need it, and take it right, i dont get high, my pain is dulled enough to have a real life, if you do not need it, addict is the correct word. And at ccc, where i go, they willstop whatever they are doing to answer questions and talk about concerns with other meds, they sell great stuff they make, try them, get with your doctor, if you have pain issues or fibro, arthriris, brining on medical deprewsssion and have a compound made, they are open, honest and the have the best customer service i have ever had in a store, period,
I guess all know that the bigger the chain the more the price, around hee, ane walmarts 4.00 generics, give me a break, just a gimmick,
I ask for not generics but am reassured that the generics are ok, at times i try it and spendthe money at my new pharmacy and the are right, it is in your head, Peter and other like him, your head is in the sand, i wonder if you have kids or a family member who is an addict, i bet you have disowned them as my brother did my siste, saying she would die almost did twice in wrecks not by drugs but is now clean. She will not talk to him now that he is trying to be nice, too late, reading the reactions to my post, i do not get mad i express myself, i am firm and i do not even want to try to discuss phsicsl dependence but iwill, you need to know this because i bet if anybody takes meds in your family, if you give anyone a chance, check out the withdraw if they were to quit coldturkey, not just pain meds but diabetes, water pills, nitro, blood pressure and lets not forget the stuff that is given to make guys who take some of these meds the means for a better love life.
My doc and ihave talked for quite a while, when i see him it is sometimes a 30 minute visit due to my back and issues i want to disuss. He explained it to me this way and now i have no problem taking a daily medication to have a somewhat normal life with fibro as someone with highblood pressure, i do beliegveheadache, bad at that is a sign of withdraw off that meds notto mentionn the blood pressure itself, how about the stress, the valium, several peoplpe take along with xanax due tostree at work and home, same thing, withdraws, and how about cigars, as bad as cigarttes, a new drug toaid in this is out and it does work, how about depression meds, if you stoptaking them, several things happen including stepping back two weeks from where youstopped takig them, and it takes that long, at leastto get backto normal, i have a long list i take, i made a comment to the front dest and was told that my list was short compared to several others, most others, people who take meds, do not always tell what and for why they take it,

The best pain med is marijuana and not the pill, it is just a little bit, it does help physical, mental and mood disorders, proven, a new journal came out last week with a new article, but in Oklahoma, we are not yet lettting chronic pain patients use it leaglly, i will not use it until they make it legal here or until i move, but why not, it is not addictive physically, or mentally, if someone has a problem like some of the other drugs do not give it tothem, the indians some paoteu at their religious ceremonies here and from what I hear it brings God and you so close, it alsohelps with pain andGod madeit.

This whole thing started out as priniple, ethical, i actualy cared that if one of the girls working had a problem, ihave ways toget things done forrehab, ihave contacts, they made it worse and the manager was and still is theworst, customer serviceis what brings people back, bad reports are what people talk about.
